Because food sources of nutrients are more bioavailable to us than pill supplementation, its important to eat a varied diet and incorporate as many nutritious foods as…

Banana energy bites! I’ve been mixing up batches Banana energy bites! I’ve been mixing up batches of these to get me eating breakfast. I’m a habitual breakfast skipper but trying to break that habit! These paired with a cup of coffee + scoop of collagen = a perfect breakfast of glucose, fats, protein, and caffeine.
Ingredients:
2 ripe bananas, mashed
1 tablespoon almond butter
2 tablespoons ground flax seed
1 cup grain free granola, crushed or use the crumbs from the bottom of the bag! (I use @autumnsgold )
Mix together. Drop by the tablespoon into mini muffin moulds (or on to a baking tray). Bake at 325 for 12 minutes. Recipe makes approx 18 energy bites- keep extras in an air tight container in the fridge.

My word for January is PLANT. I have so many goals My word for January is PLANT. I have so many goals and challenges on my calendar, but without planting myself happily into my apartment/my roots/my beliefs/my relationships, I can’t expect to be successful at those other goals. I’m not sure yet what this word [plant] will mean for me. Daily devotionals, at-home-workouts, more housekeeping? More rest maybe. I’m excited to discover. 🌱 Pictured: my newly updated window sill, with some new plants and some newly repotted plants.

PEANUT BUTTER BON BONS 🎄🤩 My very favorite PEANUT BUTTER BON BONS 🎄🤩
My very favorite holiday tradition. I adapted this recipe from one my grandmother started making before I was born. It needed some tweaks -omitting a few ingredients like margarine and paraffin wax. My favorite part of this recipe is how many different people in my extended family also make them every year!
Ingredients I use: oats, peanut butter, butter, toasted walnuts, powdered cane sugar, vanilla extract, pink sea salt, coconut oil, semisweet chocolate. Full recipe linked in the bio!
